Karina Dresses strongly believes in giving of yourself by serving others. While most budding fashionistas of her generation were in college, our founder devoted her energy & efforts to several volunteer work projects, including one with Mother Theresa's organization in Calcutta.

Karina Dresses was launched in 2007 with the explicit goal of building a business based on loving yourself and loving others. So it was only natural that we would find ways to combine our company goals with a strong company philanthropy. We thought about many giving models, but were most inspired by the "One For One" concept popularized by Tom's Shoes.  Our version of that is best summarized as "Each One Teach One." After much thought, we decided to adopt one of the organizations where our founder had personally given of herself.  We chose The Little Stars School of Varanasi and created our signature loyalty program, the LoveClubTM, for the purpose of sharing our success with LSS. A percentage of every LoveClubTM membership is donated to LSS on a quarterly basis.

With your help, in the future we will be designing other Karina Dresses offerings, and implementing new web store features, that will allow our mindful, heartful customers to support various causes.
